How to make health + healing fun again
But Laura, “wHerE aRe ThE sTUdieS, PrOve YoUrSelF!!!!”
I know I once felt like I needed to prove myself and write a legit research paper with citations just to be credible.
Until I realized none of these people even know how to read a study, I could have given them a study on a completely different topic and they would have been like POUND IT, YOU DA BEST. 👊🏼
For some reason people are living their entire life based off information as long as there is a study involved.
They are only asking this because they are so unbelievably disconnected with their bodies that they are looking for funded studies to tell them how to eat and live their lives.
Common sense and innate wisdom has gone completely out the window.
Loads of studies on processed garbage being healthy because it’s fortified with synthetic vitamins 🙃
There will never be a study on eating a balanced diet with quality animal and plants grown well.
There is no money in it and honestly, it’s boring.
We want controversy and something to argue about.
Every diet comes with consequences.
Overdo it on plants, fruit or carbs… consequences.
Overdo it on meat and protein… consequences
Overdo it on fat… consequences.
Dose matters. Choose balance.
Diets = short-term benefit with long-term risks.
At what point is all the noise just making your life more miserable and being healthy no longer fun or attainable?
My idea of health and happiness has nothing to do with what some peer reviewed study has to say because I know it will change over and over again.
Where are all the studies on quality of life?
You can live until you are 100 years old in a health bubble eating and living based off every new research on longevity but is life worth living?
Is your quest to healing and health becoming more detrimental?
*** And yes. I will continue to provide research and information for topics I deem necessary to do so but always know, not everything is relevant to you and your case and is not conclusive. No practitioner, doctor or scientist has it all figured out. I will always provide a common sense, balanced nutrition approach on this platform and individualized researched care for clients.
