The foundations to creating a lifestyle that supports your female physiology

Before you go eliminating a bunch of foods, trying the next fad diet, buying loads of supplements, buying the next hot gadget or device, dropping money like its hot on doctors appointments.

Girlfriend. Chill.

Ask yourself what does my body really need right now? What is it craving? How can I nourish myself? What is she trying to tell me?

I get it. I was there once. I felt so terrible I literally would have done anything to feel better.

Oh some woman on instagram promoting that some probiotic or x supplement completely healed her digestion.

DONE. SOLD. TAKE ALL MY MONEY.

And the outcome was always the same. Disappointment. Why?

Because I simply was not living and applying basic lifestyle and nutrition principles for my female physiology. Women are cyclical creatures. Our hormones, emotions, stress all play a role in how different we are than men. We need to start adapting our fitness, work, habits, and diet to our lives and physiology.

Work with your body. Not against it.

I thought I could have my cake and eat it too. I could continue my SAD “healthy” diet and lifestyle that was ruining my metabolism, hormones and digestion:

Work that unfulfilling corporate job, go go go all day every day from 5am until 8pm, people please, fast in the morning, drink coffee on an empty stomach, eat 1200 calories a day - majority from smoothies and salads, not pay attention to food combining and timing, drink a gallon of water, among other things… and I would just find this magic supplement or gadget that would make all my pain disappear.

When it comes to females. We crave safety and less stress. Once that security is lost, that is when symptoms arise.

One of the simplest ways to create safety and become stress resilient is through the diet and lifestyle that we keep.

Nutrition first- your cells need the energy and nourishment from food to be able to tackle everything else.

I outlined basic steps to get started so you don’t need to waste time and energy on things that don’t matter with broken promises of fixing you.

Maybe rather than thinking you need to be FIXED you need to FIND yourself in an overly masculine, influencer driven, pressure ridden, social media world.
