I’ve been there. When I was dealing with unexplained digestive issues years ago there wouldn’t be a day I wasn’t either making a doctors appointment or googling some symptom I was experiencing.

Health anxiety. It’s real. Health anxiety is an obsessive and irrational worry about having a serious medical condition. And in most cases, this constant worry and anxiety only contributes to your symptoms, so much so, it makes it near impossible for your body to heal and get better. The mind is powerful y’all!

Are you in the constant guessing game of why you can’t lose weight, why you have headaches or digestive issues, why you’re always so damn tired, why your anxiety and depression is through the roof, why you’re so moody, why your periods are not normal or why your skin is acting up? Well I can assure you, none of these mean you have some incurable physical ailment as much as google wants to tell you that you do! These are symptoms that your body is out of balance and there very well could just be some nutrition and lifestyle changes that need to take place for you to feel better!

A lot of my clients come to me after they have exhausted all the other resources. They have had ALL the doctors appointments, all the testing done and they certainly have spent their fair share of time on google, just to be left with nothing but a prescription for anxiety or whatever symptom they are experiencing that they don’t want to take.

So my job as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner is taking away that health anxiety and the constant worrying/ guessing game of trying to figure out what your body is trying to tell you.
